A 1950s touch!

Vintage headpiece Hair accessories

Why not choose something quirky to add a little 1950’s touch to your wedding.  This headpiece  is so pretty, when I saw them I wish I’d worn one on my wedding day.  It really is beautiful…and looks fab with the bright red lips as well. Very sassy!

Another popular retro theme is the 1920’s where long gloves, boas, flapper dresses and full lips can give you an elegant and highly original wedding day. My 30th birthday party had the same theme and it was so much fun. My sister managed to raid my nan’s attic and pulled out a 100 year old fully-sequined dress. It was so heavy, it reminded me of my wedding dress and all the memories came flooding back!

The dress!

There are so many beautiful wedding dresses out there its a minefield trying to choose the perfect one for you. I remember when I was looking I really struggled, but believe it or not it is like buying a house, when you try the perfect one on, you just know! Once you’ve finally chosen the right one, everything else just falls into place. Whether it be 1950’s style, traditional or vintage the theme usually revolves around the dress so its very important to get the right one.
