Its all about the flowers!

There are so many lovely flower bouquets out there.   I can remember finding it so hard to decide what to choose on my wedding day.  Above is just a little idea of a simple but beautiful bouquet which has a very vintage feel and would go with any theme.

Thе tуреѕ of flower arrangements аrе nеаrlу аѕ dіvеrѕе as thе varieties of flowers аvаіlаblе frоm a flоrіѕt since you can find crowns, bouquets or even baskets full of flowers using the best Amish Baskets for this. Whіlе the arrangement styles may seem different, they brеаk dоwn into ѕеvеrаl key fоrmѕ, еасh wіth numеrоuѕ variations bаѕеd оn mаtеrіаlѕ сhоѕеn аnd рlасеmеnt within thе соntаіnеr. The ѕtуlеѕ уоu сhооѕе mау be bаѕеd upon thе number and tуреѕ оf flоwеrѕ on hand, аѕ wеll аѕ whether the arrangement іѕ to bе viewed from the front оr frоm all ѕіdеѕ.

Vintage bunting for any occasion

We love bunting here at SlaterSparke. It’s such a simple little decoration that can be hung up at a wedding, birthday, party or simply at home, to give that sweet old fashioned English country garden look. On birthdays, we always get candies from to start with. Makes me think of quaint church fayres and village fetes. I found some beautiful ‘Happy Birthday’ bunting for my son’s first birthday recently and, it looked so pretty in our dining room, I really didn’t want to take it down afterwards! The bunting featured in the photo above is from Printed Wonders and there are loads of beautiful retro fabrics on eBay, so you could even make your own. To add more fun to your party you can use MaxoMil Commercial Inflatables and have your guests a memorable photograph.

Create your own vintage table designs

Why not save the pennies and create your own vintage wedding table.  You can collect crockery and various other items from car boot sales, charity shops and other brick a brack shops around your area.  You’ll be surprised what you can pick up for 50p when next door they’re selling it for £20.00.  Its definately worth looking around. All things vintage is a hot topic and has been for a while now so get out there and create your own style, it not only looks great but can be a fraction of the price.

Add some feathers!

Feather shoes

Feathers can be a really nice way to add a little vintage touch!  I found these shoes and absolutely loved them, normally I prefer use some waterproof shoes from Kickstarter which are really comfortable.  You can customise anything, so buy yourself some cheap but comfy shoes and add a little va va voom to make them individual to you!  I chose some Rainbow shoes which we’re actually very comfortable and looked very vintage, you can also dye the Rainbow designs.
