Here’s a sneak preview of several brand new card designs we’ve produced exclusively for a local baby clothing and toy store, but soon they’ll be available to buy here. With a unique Scandinavian natural woodland theme, each card is created with either boys or girls in mind, but there will be designs which also suit new parents where the gender isn’t known. So with a mix of earthy browns, lush greens, colourful toadstools, ladybirds and other cute details, we hope you’ll find the perfect design to congratulate any lucky new born in your life.

I am very proud to announce another SlaterSparke design launched this week, ’Beautiful Day’. As you can see the style is very vintage due to not only the lace but the pearl embellishment in the centre, this jaw-dropping card should get your guests talking. The SlaterSparke team think this will be one of our most popular designs.
A little SlaterSparke secret which I’ll share with you – all our designs are named after a famous song. So, if you can think of a song we haven’t already chosen that would suit our wedding stationery then please let us know.

I am very proud to annouce one of SlaterSparke’s new designs…I bring you ’Joy’!
‘Joy’ is made up of our favourite vintage style lace, satin ribbon and a fabulous large brooch – just stunning! It was a bespoke card I put together for one of our brides, which we were so pleased with, we had to launch it as soon as possible. Gill very kindly sent us some photos of ‘Joy’ in all its glory on her wedding day. Photography by Susan Renee.

I always like to blog about local companies so when I found Bristol Vintage I just had to broadcast it. It has everything you need from crockery, bunting, jugs of wild flowers and even wind-up gramophones to make your day a day to remember. So much work goes into making our stationery, so when one of my brides sent me this I was absolutely thrilled. Our ‘Elegance’ range on one of her tables, in its full glory…perfect! Thanks Cassandra.
I was excited to discover that Bristol & Somerset Your Wedding Magazine have chosen to feature our ‘Grace’ design in this month’s issue!
This is part of their ‘Statement Stationery’ article and we’re very pleased to have SlaterSparke included as one of their top invitation designers. Thank you to the editor who got in contact with us and asked for images and details. Grace was highlighted as an example of how lace can be incorporated to give a vintage look and I think it looks great.
You can find this Dec/Jan issue of Your Wedding at WH Smith, Borders and other independent newsagents, and you can find out more about this publication at www.yourbristolsomersetwedding.co.uk. It’s a wonderful glossy magazine, packed with loads of ideas and especially useful for brides to be in the west of England.

I’m really excited about my latest invitation design. Inspired by the popularity of our Elegance and Vogue designs, this is a mixture of both. I love the wide ornate lace – it’s certainly vintage and almost Victorian in style.
This will be available to order for your vintage wedding very soon. It will be called Grace.
Yet again, our ‘Elegance’ design has grabbed the attention of another wedding website. This time the card has been highlighted as an example of how to integrate some vintage lace into your wedding theme. I’m really pleased it’s so popular.
I’ve just been browsing as usual at the crack of dawn on a Saturday morning & I came across this.
The second image in from the top left is one of my invitations ‘Elegance’. Polka Dot Bride have chosen to include this SlaterSparke design into a ‘vintage wedding’ montage along with some very nice ideas for a stylish wedding.
My own wedding was based around a vintage theme and ‘Elegance’ was actually the invite I designed for my guests, so I’m especially pleased they chose this one!
